Papa's Carvings is a collection of hand-carved wooden items, including miniatures and custom orders, by Bill Larkin, stepdad of my "daughter in love" Jenny. He is an incredible artist, in his own right, and we are so happy to be FAMILY! We speak the same language…the language of artists…often talking to each other without having to finish sentences. (that's the true sign, you see;)

I will continue to add items as they are completed, and if you think of something you've seen me make before, that you'd like us to make available in the shoppe …please let me know! We're still tweaking so thank you for your patience, and we welcome your input and ideas.

I just recently came across this bookmark I created over a year ago, before we traveled to Martha's Vineyard …before I met with Jan Pogue of Vineyard Stories…before I met Susan Branch in person…before a hundred more wonderful things had happened.

God had given me the words to describe my journey…my heart…and I wrote them on a bookmark, and painted trailing ivy with my new French Watercolors.

How amazing it is when we acknowledge our Maker…acknowledge gifts bestowed.

We witness happenings far beyond our comprehension…bigger, higher, larger, deeper than we could possibly know to dream!

How wonderful to be on this journey…this adventure…holding on to the hand of the greatest Crafter/Creator of all…
